Throughout my time at UF I have been extremely involved in intramural sports. I have played softball, football and basketball through UF Intramurals. I went to the final co-rec intramural game of the season at Southwest Recreation Center. Although I was not playing I wanted to give my readers/followers a look at what intramurals consist of. As seen in the video students gather together and create teams. Co-Rec leagues allow for both men and women to play together. One of the things I am going to miss after my senior year is the ability to play intramural sports with all of my friends. As student Trajan Rodriguez says in the video, it allows us to get away from our classes and get some exercise while being competitive. Intramural sporting events of all types are a great experience and I encourage everyone to attend or get some friends and create a team!

University of Florida President Fuchs Facebook Live Today
Earlier today I was working in the Innovation News Center on campus when I spotted President Kent Fuchs. President Fuchs was in the INC doing Facebook live with the College of Journalism and Communications Diane McFarlin. I thought this was awesome because they were talking about all the awesome things that the students are doing within the college. I also was in the back of the Facebook Live feed shown above. I am fascinated by Facebook Live and the way technology has advanced as well as applied to my learning. This feature on social media is extremely powerful in reaching a large audience at any given time. This will certainly be an important part in the rest of my studies here at UF as well in my future career.

It's Great UF
It's Great UF! As I was scrolling through my twitter feed I found this tweet with these great statistics. It makes me reflect on my time here at UF and the decision I made a little more than 3 years ago. As someone who attended high school in Northern Virginia I am so glad I made the decision to go to UF. It has been nothing but rewarding. It's opened up so many opportunities as well as given me experience needed for my future career. Not only attending a University that is in the top 10 of public schools but almost being #1 most valuable is just amazing. I can't thank the University of Florida enough for what it has given me and where it is going to take me.
It's great to be a Florida Gator! pic.twitter.com/i9s87alrbq— FLORIDA (@UF) October 11, 2016

UF Homecoming & Gator Growl
http://gatorgrowl.org/
With UF Homecoming & Gator Growl coming up I thought I would give my readers a look at my past homecomings here at UF. Homecoming at UF is one of my favorite weeks of the entire year. It is filled with various events and things to do. It brings together the Gator Nation and reminds me why I love attending UF some much. My freshman year I had the opportunity to attend the first Gator Growl inside of Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. It was filled by thousands of students listening to great talent. The following year I attended Gator Growl at Flavet Field. Earlier in the day I had the opportunity to participate in the Homecoming parade. It was awesome to see all the Gator fans out there supporting the Gator Nation. This year I will not be able to participate in the parade but will be helping some friends create a float. I am very excited to attend this years Gator Growl and Homecoming game and honestly believe it will be the best one yet!

My Senior Year Home
Take a look inside my home for my senior year of college. I enjoy living with some of the best people on campus and getting to enjoy the luxury of living across from Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.
